Australia’s new media landscape: will we be left behind?
Wednesday, November 1, 2006

The Walkley Foundation and Ernst & Young will host a debate on Australia’s media reforms and their implications for the public, media owners and the industry.

With the reforms now facing the Senate and the industry heading for a shake-up, we bring together some of the key stakeholders to explore how this will play out on our media landscape and its users.

It will be moderated by Gold Walkley-winning journalist and SBS Insight host Jenny Brockie.

Confirmed panellists include the ABC’s Quentin Dempster and media writer for The Australian newspaper, Jane Schulze.

Ernst & Young Centre
680 George Street, Sydney
6pm to 8pm
For more information, contact the Walkley Foundation on 1300 656 512 or visit www.walkleys.com.
